2023 Honda CR-V

The new CR-V is similar to past models, but the wheelbase is longer, and the stance has widened. Four trim models are available: the EX, Sport Hybrid, EX-L, and Sport Touring Hybrid. The EX comes with a one-touch power moonroof, while the Sport Hybrid boasts black alloy wheels, roof rails, sport styling, and LED headlights. Other upgrades include 19-inch wheels, a hands-free access power tailgate, and roof rails.

The EX and EX-L have a turbocharged, four-cylinder 1.5-liter engine for a powerful and responsive experience,. The engine gets 190 horsepower and is paired with a continuously variable transmission. The hybrid models are built with a 204-horsepower two-motor system for increased fuel efficiency and green impact. Either trim gives drivers power, speed, and control.

While the default model is a front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive is available with Honda's Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System. The CR-V has multiple modes to adapt to driving conditions. Car enthusiasts will love Sport Mode, while Snow Mode helps power through winter roads, and a simplified power meter monitors performance. Hill-descent control keeps you at a safe speed down slippery roads. The car is fast and powerful, and the Sport Hybrid accelerates from zero to 60 in 7.9 seconds.

Power adjustment is also an option for the front passenger's seat. The new CR-V expands its cargo area up to 76.5 cubic feet. With configurable rear seating, you can set the back bench upright, fold it down for more storage space, or split the difference. The center console is large and highly visible, with an optional 9-inch touchscreen and Bose sound system upgrade with Centerpoint surround-sound tech that's compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Automatic climate control is included and features dual zones for drivers and passengers. Other features include an illuminated door sill trim, all-season floor mats, highly durable seatback protectors for when you fold down the seats for more storage, a cargo cover, a wireless phone charger, an available HondaLink app enabling you to track and control your car remotely, and more.

The Honda Sensing Suite helps keep you and your CR-V safe. The Collision Braking Mitigation System brakes in the event of a crash, and the Road Departure Mitigation System keeps you in your lane. Other options include adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, the lake keeping assist system, and power meters applicable to each trim.
