Design

The whole family will appreciate how spacious the 2024 CR-V’s cabin is, and Honda has incorporated changes that bring more comfort to both drivers and passengers. The front seats were redesigned to reduce a driver’s fatigue even on longer road trips and back-row passengers have reclining seats with increased legroom.

When the CR-V is driven at higher speeds, active noise cancellation helps the cabin remain quiet. Automatic Brake Hold provides relief for the driver during stop-and-go traffic by keeping the vehicle in place even when you take your foot off the brake.

Performance

A turbocharged 4-cylinder engine providing 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque is standard in all the line’s non-hybrid models. Standard features include Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control. There are three drive modes from which you can choose: ECON, Normal, and Snow.

While two-wheel drive is standard on these trims, there is also the option to switch to Honda’s Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System. Estimated fuel economy for the two-wheel drive models is 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. You can expect to get 26 mpg on city streets and 31 mpg on highways with all-wheel drive models.

Technology

A 4-speaker audio system with speed-sensitive volume is standard on the 2024 CR-V’s lowest LX trim. A 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster display is also included. The infotainment system features a 7-inch color touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, streaming audio and hands-free calling via Bluetooth, and text messaging. The front console holds a 2.5-amp USB smartphone and audio interface.
