Delicious Thai cuisine and friendly service made Tina’s Garden Cafe an instant winner for us. Start your meal out with some summer rolls or a refreshing green papaya salad, then move on to tasty entrées like the sweet and sour shrimp or salmon asparagus platter, which comes served in a tangy sauce we can’t get enough of. You’ll find this local restaurant at 168 Kamehameha Avenue.
4. Hilo Burger Joint
When someone in your family has a craving that only a juicy burger will satisfy, take a drive down to Hilo Burger Joint for the fresh-grilled flavor you want. They’ve got dozens of burgers to try on the menu here, but our special recommendation goes to the fiery flavor of their Lava Burger. Get a taste of what’s grilling here at 776 Kilauea Avenue.
5. Kenichi Restaurant
Asian fusion cuisine with a specialty in ramen served in a delicious house broth, Kenichi Restaurant is the perfect setting for a memorable meal.
