Two electric motors and a 2.0L inline-4 combine to produce 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. Like the traditionally powered Accord, power gets sent through a responsive continuously variable transmission. The Accord Hybrid’s CVT, however, is electronically controlled and features deceleration selectors that aid the brakes in stopping the vehicle and enhance the effect of regenerative braking.
